Conway to replace Duval for Paris ePrix

18 April 2017 – Mike Conway will return to Formula E at the Paris ePrix with Dragon Racing.

Conway has been called up by Dragon to replace regular driver Loïc Duval, who will miss his home event in the French capital due to clashing DTM commitments with Audi at EuroSpeedway Lausitz.

Conway says he feels "honoured" to be given the chance to race for Dragon.

"The team has showcased fervour and technical prowess this season and I am confident of the positive results we can achieve together in Paris," commented Conway, ahead of the May 20 event.

Dragon boss Jay Penske added: "He's an experienced driver whom I have always respected and I believe his talent and tenacity will contribute to the team's overall performance in Paris."

Conway represented Venturi for the majority of the 2015/16 season, scoring points in the Long Beach, Berlin and London rounds, but was left without a full-time seat for the 2016/17 campaign.

Conway also races for Toyota (LMP1) in the World Endurance Championship.
